Cabot 300 Series Semi-Transparent Stain + Sealer is a deep-penetrating, oil-based exterior stain that adds lasting color while letting the natural grain and texture of the wood show through. Because it soaks into the wood instead of forming a film on top, it won't crack, peel or blister — it simply weathers and is recoated. One coat is all it takes.

Recommended Uses
Exterior siding, fences, shingles, shakes, trim and log homes.
Application Notes
Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 50°F and 90°F. Use a quality stain brush or pad applicator; if spraying, back-brush each section immediately for uniformity. To avoid lap marks, start at one edge of a board and carry through to the end. Do not thin. Clean brushes and equipment with mineral spirits.
Maintenance
Evaluate for recoating every 3–5 years depending on sun exposure and wear.
